Tautphaus Park Zoo - Features a wide variety of exhibits and more than 300 animals. Attractions you must see include Primate Discovery Center, the African Penguins and Asian Adventure. Make sure to stop by the Children's Zoo as well!
University of Idaho - Located in the town of Moscow, just north of Lewiston. This university proudly boasts nine academic colleges and a graduate college, and is home to nearly 12,000 students and thousands of staff members. Tours of the campus are available during weekday hours.
Boise River - A favorite locale on hot summer days. You can get in your inner tube, raft, canoe or kayak in Barber Park just east of Boise, and begin a five-mile float trip. Provides a variety of unique scenery, both urban and rural.
Idaho Falls - The seasonal sunny skies and warm days provide an awesome setting for hiking, biking, boating and horseback riding in the area. The winters are great for skiing and snowmobile adventures!

Bruneau Dunes State Park - The state park includes a variety of landscapes including desert, dune, prairie, lake and marsh habitat. Activities include bird watching, hiking and viewing the stars at Idaho's only public observatory.
Bogus Basin Ski Area - Features more than 2,600 acres for skiing and snowboarding. In addition, the mountain is home to two freestyle terrain parks and a tubing hill. Skiing and snowboarding lessons are offered.
